FotoFlexer – edit your photo online

All of us sometimes need to modify our digital pictures, e.g., add text or change picture size. This article shows us how to make it by using the online photo editor FotoFlexer. Using of this service is free and there is no need of any expensive software like Photoshop. Only we need is a computer with Internet connection and with a Browser.
The FotoFlexer editor we can access from its main page. On this page we find basic information and the preciousdemonstration video. To use all the possibilities of the FotoFlexter the registration is necessary, but the editor it is possible to try out without any registration.
The homepage allows uploading the picture from a computer and opening it in the editor window. The non-registered users can insert their pictures to the editor from their computer or they can use some sample picture.Selected image is opened in the editor window with a transparent background. Also the "Zoom" is available which allows changing a size of the image in the interval from 50% to 400%
The menu is located on the top of the window. There is a "Fullscreen" button available which allows to change the reproduction to the whole screen and there are also available the buttons "Undo" and "Redo".
There is also a bar of tools here. Tools are organized by groups which are represented with particular markers. FotoFlexer publisher has a wide scale of tools.
Now let’s look at some tools which are available in the different groups. The group of basic tools allows to trim, rotate, and transfer the image. If some tool is selected, the other toolbar is opened, so that we can change this tool’s properties.
Another group of tools serves for applying several color effects to our image. E.g., “Bronze", "Sepia", "Grayscale" and much more.
The part "decorate" allows decorating our photography. E.g., we can add texts, dialogues, thoughts or elaborate a greeting card. There is also very nice a possibility to put image in a frame.
To save our images we use the button "Save" on the top. The images it is possible to save in JPG or PNG format. To use this function the registration is necessary. Luckily this is a quite easy. It is just needed to fill in the e-mail and password in the form.
After registration you will be already able to save your images from the editor to your album. The album has several very useful attributes. You can insert there the images from your account on Facebook, Flicker, MySpace or you can search the images using Yahoo. After you put the cursor on a selected image, the popup menu is displayed which allows erasing or editing the images, sending them by email or saving them to your computer.
Final evaluation
Photo editor FotoFlexer is without doubts very interesting service with wide scale of functions. Especially the tools "Smart Cutout" and "Smart Recolor are very well designed. Only disadvantage is relatively long time needed to upload the image. Excellent tools and well designed interface make editing of photos very easy. Therefore we can definitively recommend this service.
